Aegex Technologies makes Intrinsically Safe Windows 10 Tablets for hazardous locations. Aegex’s unified mobile platform with enterprise software and industry-specific applications can be used in explosive environments where traditional devices are prohibited, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, public safety and utilities industries. Aegex is looking for an engineer with hardware and software skills, specifically working in a Windows environment (Windows 8 and 10). The candidate must be enthusiastic about Microsoft, be able to manage Windows and registries, and do specific builds, alterations, and custom builds to meet customers’ requirements. Duties include:

• Build specific applications on our device for industrial customers
• Help in pre-sales by going with sales reps to talk to customers from the technology/software side
• Assist customer support manager in addressing customer issues with devices over the air, with diagnostics and by other means

• Windows 8 and 10
• Microsoft suites like Azure
• Basic software development skills (C++, less Java, XML code)
• Solution-oriented
• Open to learning and trying new things
• Willing to roll up their sleeves and dig in to Windows to meet customer needs
