Atlanta, Ga., USA (Nov. 27, 2017) – Aegex Technologies LLC has announced Sierra Instrumentation & Controls as a new reseller in India of its intrinsically safe solutions for hazardous industrial environments.

Sierra will offer Aegex’s specially certified Zone 1 intrinsically safe Windows tablets for hazardous industries in India, including Oil & Gas, Pharma and Chemical, where combustible atmospheres require intrinsically safe electronic equipment. Sierra will carry the aegex10 Intrinsically Safe Zone-1 certified Tablet, the first of its kind to run the Windows 10 operating system and be certified for use in ATEX and IECEx Zone 1 throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, Class I, II, III Division 1 hazardous locations in the U.S. and Canada.
